Senior analysts focus on one or more aspects of the Medicaid and State Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP). They work collaboratively with other members of the policy team under the direction of policy directors. Qualified candidates have knowledge and expertise in Medicaid payment and financing policies. This experience could include familiarity in policy areas such as fee-for-service base and supplemental payments, managed care capitation rates and directed payments, state approaches to provider payment, and payment and rebates for prescription drugs. Major Duties A senior analyst is expected, on a routine basis, to be able to: conduct analytic work including:
