Senior Analyst

As a Senior Analyst at B+E you will have general oversight of the analyst team and direct workflow. Additionally, this position requires excellent execution skills and ability to lead a team to complete goals and tasks related to deal making efficiently. The senior analyst is expected to have a deeper understanding of the net lease market and trends within net lease sectors. Senior analysts are expected to be able to resolve problems and create sales support documents with minimal involvement from higher leadership.

General Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic ways to improve overall efficiency between brokers, analyst team and marketing department.  Improving overall efficiency includes the ability to successfully resolve problems and create sales support documents with minimal direction from brokers and higher leadership.
• Plan, organize and manage deadlines for all sales support documents flowing through analyst and broker teams. Hold inter-department prioritization meetings to set standards and establish realistic timelines for various projects. Then, effectively communicate timing expectations to broker team.
• Create innovative sales support documents to assist brokers in connecting with clients i.e. trend, market and cap rate reports. Additionally, oversee and conduct the development and writing of all sales support documents and assist in the pricing analysis process for real estate assets.
• Understand overall goals of broker team in order to set clear goals for analyst team implementing a seamless strategy to execute deliverables to achieve goals. Additionally, setting clear expectations for team conduct and quality of sales support documents.
• Actively monitor trends and developments in the net lease industry and track market information for multiple real estate sectors i.e. retail, industrial, office, and medical. Be able to communicate relevant information to analyst team and brokerage team.
• Engage with various clients during the transaction process.
• Train incoming analysts on the process and general practices of B+E. Additionally, assist new analysts in learning how to conduct market and pricing analysis.

• 2+ Years experience as a CRE Real Estate Analyst or RE Underwriter
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate or similar program
• Have you had management/leadership/delegation experience (Clubs, Team Sports, etc)
• Advanced experience with CRE data tools such as CoStar
• Financial modeling in Excel  (Send us a RE focused financial model that they have built by themselves from scratch. Send exercise?
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
