We're seeking a dynamic leader to fill the role of Facilities Manager at our new 475k sf distribution center currently under construction in the Orlando metro area. This position will be responsible for supervising a team of 6-8 employees whose goal is to keep our new investments pristine and operational so we can service our customer's timely and efficiently. Responsibilities will include maintenance and preventative maintenance of a new conveyor system, new operating systems, order pickers, forklifts and power jacks and a variety of duties that are both inside and outside the four walls of our DC. This role will interact with other supervisors and managers as well as with outside vendors to complete objectives. The DC will operate 24hrs per day, 5 days per week and representation from the maintenance team will be required around the clock.
The Facilities Manager will initially assist with supervisory duties during the construction of our new facility. They will assist with managing access to the site during construction and securing the site at the end of each day. The manager will coordinate with Contractors and McKesson Project Managers to answer construction related questions. Construction has already begun, and we will look to take possession in the late summer/early fall of 2022. The Facility manager will actively participate in construction and installation of Material Handling Equipment as part of the training program as well as travel to other DC's. Initially, travel may be heavy as the Facilities manager assimilates to our distribution network/procedures and will spend time in our Dallas, TX, Lehigh Valley, PA & Bartlett, IL distribution centers prior to the go live of our Bartlett DC. This is an incredible opportunity to lead a team in our new state of the art warehouse and to work closely with other leaders within the DC to execute on our goals.
DC Details
This DC will feature state of the art automation to include automated induction, I-Pack cartonization, workflow management, pick to light, automated storage retrieval systems and conveyor throughout. The building has additional capacity to grow to 575k sq. ft. in the upcoming years. This is a fully climate-controlled warehouse and will include a generator backup.

Minimum Requirements
3+ years facilities engineering experience and demonstrated leadership skills
Required Skills
- Battery powered material handling equipment experience required
- Motor Controls (specifically 3 phase / 480 motors) - experience required
- Ability to read/comprehend schematics (drawings) - experience required
- Basic electric background - required
- Conventional Conveyor experience-required
- Conveyor maintenance experience-required
- Must have a demonstrated ability to make data informed decision proactively
- Direct/plan work, create maintenance schedules and lead a team of facility engineers
Preferred Experience
- Experience in a maintenance environment preferred
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Electrical experience is preferred
- Lift Truck Operator Certification is preferred
- WSI Systems Automated conveyor maintenance experience preferred
- Motor Controls (MDR) Motorized Driven Rollers - experience preferred
- Experience working with WSI MHE and Company - preferred
- HVAC experience a plus
Education
4-year degree or related field or equivalent experience
Minimum Requirements
3+ years facilities engineering experience and demonstrated leadership skills
Additional Knowledge & Skills
Solid knowledge of company products and operations, oral communication skills, visual acuity, and manual dexterity, demonstrates leadership skills
