The Material Master Data team is comprised of 3 individuals; working on the commercial business side of the company and managing relationships with data steward resources within other teams to ensure clear understanding of organizational requirements that are then managed in concert with Master Data Management. This is an exciting opportunity to learn and develop your skills with SAP MDG - a fairly new tool within the ERP world.
This is a fully remote position as long as someone resides within the United States
Review and approve change requests to ensure accurate data entry of item master data attributes within the SAP MDG application
Manage data requests in support of business processes
Drive excellence and ensure continuous improvement in quality of data through cleansing and data construction
Ensure Material Master Data Quality
Experienced in the material master domain as well as monitor and improve data quality through cleansing and data construction
Define KPIs related to material master data management and drive a system of actions to complete requests in accordance with SLA's
Provide input to the development of MDM data collection templates, develop and maintain relationships with business and IS resources to improve data management processes
Serve as a business contact for material master related topics while identifying solutions to business challenges as you'll be partnering with cross functional stakeholders to support business needs for master data
Identify opportunities to gain efficiencies, automate, and improve data quality; you'll be doing full reviews for each request from the business to ensure accurate data changes
Lead/participate in MDM projects as assigned
You'll act as the Project manager for end to end system setup and partner with other SAP power users across global community to identify and resolve data gaps and issues with SAP functionality through hands on testing
May include Merger & Acquisition and/or Global Program support
Qualifications/Work Experience Preferred
Excellent analytical and organizational skills with strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills
Demonstrated expertise with common software platforms; bonus if you have BI Application experience (i.e. Power BI, Tableau, etc preferred)
Education/Special Training Required
Bachelor's degree in information systems, business administration, computer science, finance, accounting, statistics, or equivalent work experience.
2+ years of material data or system experience preferred
