The Portland International Jetport has a position for a highly motivated Airport Facilities Manager in the Engineering and Facilities Dept. This position reports to the Deputy Director and assists in the oversight of PWM's airport facilities. Responsibilities include: create and maintain a preventative maintenance program, implement and maintain asset management database, work order prioritization, review and close out completed work orders, analyze workload and prepare recommendations for utilization of staff and provide technical assistance to subordinates.This position will be front and center in reinforcing the Jetport's core values of Safety, Service, Teamwork and Trust. Starting pay range: $1,268-$1,386/week depending upon qualifications. Deadline: March 15, 2021.
Ability to pass all required background investigations and maintain a valid Class C Maine Driver’s License. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field from an accredited four-year college or university or combination of education and experience; knowledge of current operational procedures for preparation, repair, maintenance, and modifications of various mechanical and electrical systems as required; ability to make on-the-scene decisions affecting terminal safety; knowledge and understanding of the principles and techniques of personnel management and supervision; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to be on-call for emergencies; and ability to obtain a valid State of Maine Driver's license. Experience using a computer including Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Google Docs. Necessary Special Requirements: Valid Maine Class C Motor Vehicle Operator’s license. Must be able to pass all local and federal background investigations, specifically TSA Criminal Background Check in accordance with TSR 1542 to acquire and maintain an airport security badge.

Additional Salary Information: This is a 37.5 hour per week position Non-Union Grade C43.
