Oversee day-to-day management of multifamily, rental, condo and retail buildings
Review and submit annual NYC DHCR Rent registrations and comply with applicable regulations
Communicate and maintain relationships with condo boards
Provide guidance to building supers and staff through weekly calls and meetings
Maintain properties by addressing tenant complaints and enforcing rules of occupancy
Negotiate service contracts with vendors and contractors
Obtain bids on special repairs or projects
Coordinate legal proceedings against delinquent accounts
Coordinate preparation of annual budgets
Coordinate weekly meetings with residential rental brokers
Perform weekly site visits at properties to ensure proper upkeep
Provide weekly reports to senior management
Review and approve weekly invoices for reasonableness
Review and approve weekly payroll for assistants and building staff
Perform annual performance reviews of building staff
Extensive knowledge of NYC Rent Stabilization Laws required
Proven track record of managing real estate in New York. 5+ years of working for an owner, manager or developer
Strong knowledge of Yardi and Excel
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated with the ability to manage a team
